Sabio Bangkok: A Vibrant Spanish Tapas Experience
Sabio Bangkok is a vibrant Spanish Tapas restaurant located in Bangkok, Thailand. The restaurant offers a unique experience with an open plan kitchen, josper wood grilled oven, fresh catch seafood options, hand-sliced Jamon, and a variety of tapas. The establishment is known for its beautiful design, featuring hand-painted art, a two-meter-high zebra, and a rotating menu of Sabio Sangria.
Established in 2011, Sabio Bangkok was the first Spanish Tapas restaurant in Singapore and has since brought its playful and enigmatic design to Bangkok's Duxton Hill area. The restaurant's hospitality-driven brand and tongue-in-cheek playfulness resonate with Spain's art and culture, offering a vibrant and colorful space for diners and partiers.

Together, Olivier Bendel and Angela May bring an unparalleled blend of culinary innovation, hospitality expertise, and a shared passion for sustainable, vibrant dining experiences.
Olivier Bendel, a veteran restaurateur and founder of Déliciae Hospitality Management (DHM), has shaped Singapore’s restaurant scene with his authentic European concepts. From the iconic L’Entrecôte steak-frites bistro to Singapore’s first Spanish tapas bar, Sabio, Olivier’s visionary leadership has introduced a variety of unique dining concepts across the city, earning him accolades such as the Singapore Tourism Board’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
Angela May, an accomplished chef, TV presenter, and accredited performance nutritionist, champions health-conscious, globally inspired cuisine. A graduate of Le Cordon Bleu, Angela launched her first vegetable-forward restaurant, Angela May Food Chapters, and co-founded Foodfluence, an F&B initiative aimed at a sustainable food future. Her deep ties to local farmers and her globally enriched culinary perspective bring freshness and innovation to every dish.
Together, Olivier and Angela lead DHM and Foodfluence, merging their expertise to create memorable dining experiences, bespoke catering solutions, and forward-thinking food concepts that inspire and delight diners in Singapore, Thailand and beyond.
